The MGC GT coupe' appears at first glance to be similar to the MGB, but they are significantly different. The MGC has the largest capacity engine ever fitted to a production MG according to the introduction brochure of the day "Effortless performance" from this "turbine smooth 6 cylinder grand tourer" with the distinctive bonnet bulge. This GT has been continuously driven and resided on the west coast until I purchased in 2020 during the pandemic site unseen, and had it shipped to Texas. It has been sympathetically restored by previous owners and due to the extreme heat in Texas the majority of the year, Air Conditioning and power steering have been added to give it both performance and all season comfort. Heritage certified Pale Primrose was resprayed in 2001 with Pearlescent paint with clear coat and can still win regional shows. Chrome wires were originally fitted and were replaced in 2013 along with brake system and interior. Documented engine and clutch rebuild in 2017. Accessories and modifications include later model dash, console, and leather seats. Retro sound system with bluetooth and sub were aded and a 60 amp alternator has been installed to power the added electrical components to make this the ultimate MG grand tourer.
