This engine was designed with a dry sump oil system that was a perfect fit for track driving and high acceleration. It's mated up to an optional 8-speed paddle shift automatic transmission that sends power to the rear with an electronic limited slip differential with performance gear ratios and a rear differential cooler. This combination allows the Corvette to achieve 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and to sprint a quarter mile in only 11.9 seconds. A driver mode selector and multi-mode performance exhaust allow the driver even more control over the cars performance depending on driving conditions. All that power isn't very useful though without good handling - and GM made sure it had that base covered with the Grand Sport performance suspension with magnetic ride control, Active Handling Stability and Traction Control, and Speed Sense power steering that utilizes a variable ratio rack & pinion system. Stopping power receives equal consideration with high-performance power 4-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors and ABS. Unlock the door with one of the two included fobs (which also offer remote start) and swing it open to reveal a like-new two-tone Gray interior. The comfortable gray leather GT bucket seats are heated, ventilated, 8-way power-adjustable, with power bolster and lumbar controls, and badged with silver Corvette logos. Look up to find a universal home remote built into the drivers visor and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Ahead of the passenger, in the glovebox, is the original owners manual portfolio.
