This exquisite 1932 Ford B-400 in our McDonald, PA showroom. The
B-400 was a two-door convertible sedan that is considered extremely
rare and is often cited as the rarest of all the 1932 Ford models
with only 842 units produced. It is estimated that there are less
than 75 still in existence. The B-400 was a one-year-only body
style that didn't catch on with the public and was quickly
discontinued, but a significant portion of the cars that were built
were exported for overseas markets or for use as embassy cars. This
particular car, originally a right-hand drive, was used just as
that in British Columbia, Canada. The metalwork, paint and interior
are simply remarkable. Prior to a professional restoration, the
body was a rust-free example, and the owner sourced new NOS Ford
fenders which are nearly impossible to find. The custom chassis was
built by So-Cal Speed Shop and features all top-of-the-line
stainless features including Buick finned brake drum covers. This
special car is powered by a cleverly disguised 383 Stroker V8
coupled with a TCI 700r4 Street Fighter overdrive transmission and
a custom Ford 9" rear differential with posi-traction. Other items
of interest include: Custom gauges designed by Classic
Instruments Ron Francis wiring Dan Fink grille Custom made
badging Rootlieb custom 25 louver hood Original headlights with
center bar removed Eight stack fuel injection Rear mounted
Vintage Air air conditioning Custom banjo steering wheel Custom
steering column Wheelsmith artillery wheels Handmade stainless
exhaust All switches and knobs are hidden Smoked grey glass
throughout This car isn't just a build - it's a rolling piece of
automotive history, fully realized and elevated for modern driving
and admiration. With only 387 break-in miles and the fact that it
has never been shown, this car is ready for the show circuit,
Goodguy's events or any local cruse-in that comes up. We strongly
recommend, welcome, and encourage personal or professional
inspections of any vehicle in our inventory prior to purchase. A
deposit of five percent (5%) of the purchase price is required to
hold a vehicle. Upon receipt of the deposit, the vehicle will be
