Cruisin Classics is proud to present to you this absolutely
stunning 1937 Ford Roadster. This is a top-quality build that turns
heads and commands attention everywhere it goes! This '37 roadster
was completed in 2012, and it has only been driven a mere 4,604
miles since. The build begins with a custom powder-coated frame,
topped with a WildRod '37 Ford roadster fiberglass body featuring a
removable Carson-style top. The curvaceous body is coated with
expertly applied custom-blended GM Synergy Green paint, with a few
minuscule imperfections from rock chips on the lower front end
being the only demerits. Viewed from the front, the star of the
show is the gleaming 38-slat horizontal grille that widens as it
rises from the bottom to meet the curved hood. It's flanked by
chrome-trimmed teardrop headlights with integrated turn signals
that protrude from the swooping front fenders. As you move around
to the side of the car, you can't help but notice the low chopped
roofline and the removable hardtop dressed in black canvas - a nice
contrast to the green body. A " wide airbrushed silver stripe runs
down each side from the grille to the rear along the upper body
line, almost mimicking body side molding. The doors open from the
front (suicide doors), both offer body-color side mirrors, and they
are devoid of door handles, relying now on poppers to get into the
car, and providing a smooth exterior look. Below the doors are
running boards that connect the wide, flowing front and rear
fenders. Tucked under those fenders are bright chrome 5-spoke
wheels with staggered tires - Thunderer Mach IV's (215 50Z R17) up
front and Cooper Zeon Sport RS's (245 45Z R20) in the rear. Through
the wheels you can see that this car is outfitted with red Corvette
calipers and drilled rotors. The stance and ride height of this
roadster are completely up to you, as it is equipped with a
Ride-Tech air ride system that allows you to customize the look.
The rear of the car carries on the smooth look with a shaved trunk
handle and a flush-mount light bar beneath that offers taillight,
brake light, and turn signal functions. The license plate holder
flips up to reveal remote battery terminals, making it incredibly
easy to jump-start should the need arise.
The electrically-lifting hood opens from the driver's side (with a
switch under the dash) to reveal a truly impressive engine bay. At
the center is a powerful 5.7 liter 350hp LS1 engine mated to a
4L60E 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission - both of which came
out of an '04 GTO with only 33K miles. This combo is way more than
adequate to make driving this lightweight roadster an exhilarating
experience! Body-color engine covers and intake give it a very
cohesive look. Other highlights include Vintage Air conditioning,
power steering, power brakes, and an aluminum radiator with
electric fan and polished overflow cannister. Exhaust flows through
headers and Flowmaster mufflers to create an aggressive sound
that's sure to please. Take a peek underneath the car to find
Heidt's front control arms, a custom 4-link set-up, a 9" rear axle,
and an undercarriage so clean you'll want to put a mirror under it
at car shows just to show it off.
Now it's time to hop inside the car, which will require the
4-button key fob (there are 2 that come with the car). The key fob
can be used to open the driver's door (1), passenger door (2), turn
all power on or off (3), and lower the driver's window (4). Hit the
button, and the driver's door pops open to reveal a beautiful green
and tan custom interior. LED lights on the sill plate welcome you
inside for a comfortable seat. The custom door panels, headliner,
and bucket seats are all covered in incredibly soft tan
UltraLeather - a high-end faux leather with a polyurethane surface
designed to mimic calfskin. A body-color console runs the length
from the dash to the rear wall and offers a 12V port, power window
controls, and a Lokar shifter with tan boot. On the console where
it climbs up to meet the dash, you'll find controls for the
Ride-Tech suspension, light, and 2-speed wiper controls, Vintage
Air controls that crank out cold A/C and hot heat, a Sony head unit
with Sirius, iPod, USB, and Pandora accessibility, and a
push-button start. On both sides of this center tower are speakers
for the Sony stereo. Behind the seats are yet more speakers from PB
(PowerBass) that are custom-mounted in the fiberglass. Needless to
say, the sound system sounds utterly fantastic no matter what tunes
are playing. The dash itself is green fiberglass as well, and it's
stocked with a full complement of Autometer gauges, including a
tachometer. The odometer reads only 4,604 miles, which represents
total mileage on this over-the-top build. The driver is treated to
a 3-spoke tan and chrome steering wheel with a working horn on a
chromed tilt column. Underfoot is tan high-quality carpet that goes
perfectly with the interior color scheme. Beside the driver's seat,
just behind the door jamb, is a switch that controls the
power-operated trunklid. Not surprisingly, the trunk is in keeping
with the interior - with custom UltraLeather sidewalls and lid
liner and fresh tan carpet. There's even a California duster to
keep this ride looking great. Additionally, this car comes with a
fair number of receipts and build photos.
If you're looking for a unique car that really makes a statement
and stands out in a crowd, then this '37 Ford is going to get your
heart beating faster! It's not often that you find such a
well-built hot rod that has been so well thought out and designed.
This ride is literally loaded with features and options all packed
into a stylish custom body that is certain to snap necks wherever
it goes! Give our friendly staff a call today - this '37 surely
won't be here for long!
