--Rossa Corsa with Black leather interior, Black carpeting, Black
soft-top, 2.0 Liter V6 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 60,000
Kilometers (37,000 Miles) from new, One-Owner from New! The Fiat
Dino was brought to life as a collaboration between Fiat and
Ferrari to build a six-cylinder engine for Ferrari to meet the
homologation requirements for Formula Two Racing, which called for
the production of 500 engines. Fiat agreed to build the
all-aluminum V6 2.0-liter engine, re-engineered by Aurelio Lampredi
and producing 180 bhp. The design of the Spider was penned by
Pininfarina. Unveiled during the 1967 Geneva Motor Show, the Spider
featured a five-speed manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential
and four-wheel disc brakes. It's 2.0 liter V6 engine supplied
excellent performance. It will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in seven
seconds and continue on to a top speed of 130 mph. When production
of the 2.0 liter Spider ceased in 1969 only 1133 were manufactured,
very few made their way stateside, thus quite rare to be seen in
the United States. This Dino has had only One-Owner from New!, it
has been cared for my well-known New York specialists North
Umberland Engineering. Over the years, the seats have been redone
to Ferrari Daytona style with Red inserts, Momo sport steering
wheel as well as Cromodora wheels. This Fiat Dino iconic Spider is
serviced thoroughly and tuned exceptionally well. It is extremely
user friendly both around town as well as for fast cruising. The
Dino Spider is a wonderful and competent vintage convertible and
vintage rally-tour car. The Dino Spider is a superb vintage cult
classic sports car and extremely hard to find in this condition.
With its fantastic V6 Ferrari engine and elegant Pininfarina
styling, it combines all the passion of a Ferrari and character of
a limited production Italian sport convertible, seldom seen on the
roads. A recent road test attests to the car performing flawlessly
in every way, it is ready for immediate use and enjoyment.
