INTRODUCTION: This collector Edition has only 9,512 actual miles.
It has been judged with the highest honors a survivor can get. It
won Bloomington Gold, Bloomington Survivor, and the coveted
Bloomington Benchmark. It has also earned an NCRS Top Flight and
the Triple Crown awards. Along with original documentation, the
award certificates and judging sheets are included.
The Collector Edition: Not only is it loaded with options, it also
has several features not available on any other Corvette. The color
scheme, wheels, bronze tops, opening hatch window, upgraded carpet
and much more is available only on this car.
EXTERIOR: Very handsome car, I've always loved the lines on the 80-
82. Unique colors and fade away stripes were only available on the
Collector Edition. The body is mint, the original paint still looks
practically new. It also has unique bronze tinted glass tops.
Unique wheels are made similar to the 1967 optional aluminum wheel.
The glass, weatherstrips, bumpers, wheels all look practically new.
The power antenna works. The tires are original, if you plan on
driving the car they should be replaced.
INTERIOR: All original and practically like new. The same color
scheme continues inside, multi color seats and door panels. All
leather seats, not just the centers like other Vettes. It also has
a leather wheel and unique leather horn button. The thicker premium
carpet continues on the lower door panels and center console. The
console trim is a smokey bronze to match. It's loaded with options
and they all appear to be functional. Some features include power
seat, windows, locks and mirrors. The digital stereo is another
option. It is practically like new inside.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The first fuel injected Vette since 1965 and
the first ever electronic fuel injection. The 350 motor is #
matching and completely stock. The smog pump, decals, and finned
valve covers are all original. The air cleaner is complete and
features cold air induction. It is exceptionally clean, proper and
original. Features include air conditioning, cruise control, power
steering and power brakes. It is exceptionally clean, proper and
original.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The rear window pops open from inside, this is a
first for a Corvette. It has wall to wall thick carpet and has a
retractable sunshade. The t-top bags are in the compartment.
UNDERSIDE: It's a very well preserved survivor undercarriage.
Actually, it's one of the cleaner ones I've seen. It was maintained
as needed. It still has its original exhaust with catalytic
converter and GM date coded mufflers. Independent suspension front
and back, disc brakes at all four wheels. The fiberglass floors are
excellent, the spare tire carrier is complete. The bottom of the
motor looks clean. It was the first year for the 700R4 overdrive
automatic trans.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Here is your chance to own one of the highest honored
Collector Edition Corvettes in the country. The awards were
achieved in 2005-2008, only 25 miles have been put on since! 10
years from now look in your garage and be happy with your
investment, don't look back and think "I should have bought
