1967 Pontiac Catalina convertible. This one has remained in the
same family since it was about six months old, and it is believed
to have just over 50,000 original miles. The car was repainted once
in 2022 and retains many of its original features and components.
Powered by a 400 cubic inch V8 engine paired with a
Turbo-Hydramatic 400 automatic transmission shifted on the column.
The paint is Mariner Turquoise with a glossy finish. Minor
imperfections such as light paint pimpling and some chrome pitting
on the rear bumper are noted. The convertible top has been replaced
once, shifting from the original black vinyl to a white vinyl top,
and functions well with a power-operated mechanism. Black vinyl
bench seat interior, with correct trim, and equipped with power
steering and air conditioning, (though the AC requires
maintenance). The car sits on radial tires with Pontiac Motor
Division wheel covers over steel wheels. A well-maintained engine
bay looking mostly original. Recent maintenance includes new rear
brakes and a new master cylinder, as well as rear axle seal. A new
power top switch is included in the trunk, as well as owners
manuals, a new-in-box brake master cylinder and booster, and a
new-in-box disc brake setup for left and right front brakes,
including hubs, calipers, and rotors. Original and aftermarket
gauges are reading, and AM radio is in working order. On the road
the Catalina's smooth comfortable ride, and easy handling are
evident.
