Most car enthusiasts have probably thought about scoring a sweet
old-school hot rod at some point. The thing that usually holds
people back is the time and effort it takes, along with all the
trial-and-error that comes with it. It can definitely feel like a
lot to handle, which is why when a car like this 1934 Ford 3-Window
Coupe comes along, it's worth taking some time to see how much
effort and time have been invested in it for you, no work required.
With just two miles on its odometer since its ten-year full
frame-off restoration was completed, this midnight black coupe is
sure to turn heads wherever it goes.
Inside those suicide doors, we find a beautifully appointed and
fully custom tan interior. A beautiful woodgrain banjo-style custom
steering wheel sits in front of a matching (and equally beautiful)
woodgrain dashboard featuring a set of white-faced AutoMeter
gauges. Power window switches, seatbelts, and an air conditioner
that could use a recharge make this cockpit far superior to its
original form. Out back, we find a rumble seat setup that only
needs the seat itself to provide passengers with a ride unlike any
other.
Prop open that steel hood, and you're treated to a clean and full
engine bay featuring a 302 cubic-inch naturally aspirated V-8
engine. With its Cobra valve covers, single four-barrel Brawler
carburetor, shorty headers, and MagnaFlow dual exhaust, this small
block sounds every bit the hot rod it is meant to be. That power is
routed through a Ford C6 three-speed automatic transmission before
being sent out to the nine-inch rear end, which transfers those
ponies to the pavement via a set of 15-inch Billet Specialties
chrome wheels.
