Here's a fun cruiser for anyone who likes beautiful, old-school
automobile looks. This rare 1935 Buick Series 60 Touring Sedan is a
solid vehicle with a bright red paint job. The exterior maintains
an original appearance outside of the sleek custom wheels. The
suicide doors are a fun original touch, along with the huge hood
ornament, front and rear chrome bumpers, and the flared-out,
long-sloping fenders. The body is solid, the glass and headlights
are in good shape, and the underside is as clean and solid as the
rest of the exterior. This is a nice restoration.
The interior has been restored very well in a mostly tan color that
pairs great with the red exterior color. The door panels, leather
seats, and dashboard are all in good shape, as are the carpet and
headliner. A custom billet steering wheel with a tan rim is a nice
touch and looks perfect with the chrome steering column. The black
gauge cluster features a set of elegant, vintage-style Amperes
gauges that perfectly match the interior's theme. Off to the right
is a Pioneer head unit with AM/FM/CD/Aux and Bluetooth radio. Next
to that appears to be an original-looking set of heat and A/C
controls, and in front of that on the floor is a custom floor
shifter.
Under the hood is a nice-looking 350-cubic-inch V8 with a single
4-barrel Holley carburetor. The engine is connected to a 700R4
4-speed automatic transmission, which runs to a 9-inch rear axle. A
tubular Mustang II front end with A-arms, adjustable coilovers, and
rack-and-pinion steering handles the front suspension duties, while
a leaf-spring setup takes care of the rear. For brakes, the front
uses power disc brakes, and the rear uses power drum brakes. Tire
sizes are 215/70R15 in the front and 235/70R15 in the rear that
wrap around a set of 15-inch Billet Specialties wheels. And for a
stout sound, a pair of shorty headers feeds dual exhaust running
through a set Z-Power mufflers.
