This car shows off a sharp Indian Fire paint job that was professionally completed in 2021 and gives the Fairlane a bold, modern look while still honoring its classic lines. It sits on Special Edition American Racing wheels that fill the wheel wells perfectly and give the car a tough stance. The undercarriage and supporting hardware have been heavily refreshed with new tie rods, control arms, a center link, front coil springs, subframe connectors and a heavy duty custom driveshaft with a driveshaft loop. Stopping power is strong thanks to four wheel disc brakes with new pads, calipers, rotors, a new master cylinder and all new brake lines. An aluminum heavy duty radiator and a new 120 amp Ford alternator keep everything running cool and reliable.

Under the hood is where this Fairlane really shows its personality. The car is powered by a stout 552ci V8 producing 705 horsepower. The build features a Dove 1970 block with an Eagle forged 4.5 inch stroker crank, Eagle forged 6.7 inch rods and Icon forged pistons with 10-1 compression. It includes Clevite main and rod bearings, a Melling oil pump, a Lunati Voodoo hydraulic roller cam, Morel hydraulic roller lifters and the correct chromoly pushrods. The engine breathes through Pro Comp Pro Ported aluminum heads with stainless valves and stainless steel roller rocker arms. Air and fuel are handled by a Holley Weiand Stealth ported intake manifold paired with Holley Sniper X Flow EFI, a Holley high volume electric fuel pump and braided stainless fuel lines. Spark comes from an MSD ignition system with a coil, Hyperspark distributor and Ford Racing nine millimeter plug wires. Additional upgrades include a Powermaster high torque starter, a new water pump, FPA ceramic coated headers and a full three inch exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. Power is delivered through a professionally built C6 automatic transmission. The car uses a Lincoln nine inch rear axle with 3.25 gearing to put the power to the ground.

Inside, the car is clean and purpose built with new carpet and a new headliner front and rear. It features 1970 Mustang high back bucket seats that give the cabin a sportier feel along with shoulder harnesses for added safety. A B&M Quicksilver shifter handles the gear changes and extra instrumentation is provided by a tachometer along with aftermarket gauges for oil pressure, temperature and voltage. The interior keeps a classic muscle car look while giving the driver everything needed to keep an eye on the car's performance.

This Fairlane carries Cobra style badging but is not a true Cobra. It is however a seriously well built machine with quality parts throughout and an engine combination that delivers big power. Cars of this era that are built to this level of detail do not come up often and this one is ready for someone who wants a classic Ford with modern performance and a ton of presence.
