This beautiful 1968 Jaguar has only had 2 owners ( the first owner from new until 2021). All original drivetrain with a 4.2 liter 246 horsepower DOHC inline 6-cylinder engine with dual carburetors mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and dual exhaust. The interior was recently restored with black leather bucket seats and new black leather upholstery and dash. It has the original front and rear chrome bumpers, original factory wire wheels and 4-wheel disc brakes. The original tool kit is also included.
The engine was removed in 2023 and all gaskets and seals were replaced, all hoses and clamps were also replaced and it was tuned and generally gone over (over $12000 in receipts are included).
Finished in Gunmetal Gray with Black leather this Jaguar coupe is widely considered one of the most beautiful production cars ever built. This is a two-seat coupe (not a 2+2) which makes it a much more rare Jaguar E-Type 4.2 (1.5).
