1971 Mercury Cougar convertible - only 1,722 produced with this particular one being .... ONE OF ONE ! According to the Marti Report , this Cougar is the only one ever built with this equipment and color combination . It has the Cleveland 4BBL 351 V-8 engine , the C6 transmission , air conditioning , am radio with an 8 track player and tilt column . It is Pastel Blue , code 921-A , with the White Knitted Vinyl bucket seats , code 5W , and a white convertible top . The Styled Steel Wheels completed it's singularity . Lady owned , garage kept , this trophy winning Cougar shows 58,800 miles , reported as actual to me , it runs and drives great , still shows very well and would enhance anyone's collection . The Cougar has not been driven much over the past decade , it just came out of the barn , literally . It has had one repaint in 55 years , it has not been detailed or undercoated to hide anything , it is not restored , it is original besides the repaint . It is a very honest , solid car . It does need a new muffler and some minor maintenance , nothing major .
