INTRODUCTION: Meticulous, very meticulous! Only 435 miles since a
frame off, rotisserie nut and bolt build. Dialed in and detailed in
and out, top to bottom!
EXTERIOR: Amazing fit and finish! In my business I know not to use
the word perfect, but in my opinion this paint job is! It is like
red glass on a laser straight body with precise gaps. All of the
chrome and trim was replaced including the dual bow tie mirrors.
New weatherstrips and all the glass was even replaced. Staggered
size Billet Specialties Magneto wheels wrapped in custom made
performance redline tires.
INTERIOR: New, new, new! Not only is it all new but it fits and
functions right too. It has a new wiring harness and push in fuse
panel. The entire dash area is restored including a new heater
control panel, factory gauges and "blinker tachometer". The seats
were recushioned then upholstered. The headliner fits tight, so
does the carpet. It has a new deluxe wheel on a tilt column. The
center console even has a working clock. Upgraded with a retro
stereo, 6x9 speakers and an amp.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 454 bored to a 468 and labeled as a 396 which
would be correct in 1967. Upgraded with an aluminum intake, dual
feed Holley carb, HEI ignition and a set of coated headers. The
front of the motor has polished billet components including
brackets, serpentine pulleys and alternator. It runs cool with a
polished aluminum water pump and radiator with dual electric fans.
It also features a modern power steering system and power brakes
with a Wilwood master cylinder. I love the polished Motion valve
covers. Other nice features include premium fuel line and fittings,
plug wire holders, billet hinges, etc. The smoothed out firewall
looks like a red mirror. This is a highly detailed engine
compartment!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are painted slick.
Inside is spotless metal that is painted smooth. It has a
reproduction redline tire on a painted rim for a spare and a jack
assembly. New mat, decals, and wiring.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame and flipped on a rotisserie.
The floors are painted gloss red and were actually buffed. The
frame was powder coated gray metallic. Upgraded with a complete QA1
suspension. It has coilover adjustable gas shocks, fat swaybars and
tubular control arms front and back. New fuel system with a
polished stainless fuel tank. Wilwood brake system with drilled and
slotted disc at all 4 wheels. Polished stainless exhaust with Borla
mufflers and x-pipe. Looking up at the motor it is spotless and has
a high torque starter. The trans is a $4,000 Sid Neal Powerglide
performance transmission with an extra capacity aluminum oil pan. A
rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a 3.55 posi with an aluminum
cover. It is spotless under here!
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Anywhere you look you will be impressed: the jambs are
slick, wiper arms are polished, the clock has quartz movement! I'm
around enough cars to spot the exceptional ones, this is one of
them. You could spend $200,000 at a shop building one and only hope
it turns out this nice. If you are only satisfied with the best,
here is your car!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
