INTRODUCTION: Exceptionally clean car! Fit and finish in and out
are impressive. It was a body off the frame restoration. This big
block 4-speed convertible will do nothing but make you happy!
EXTERIOR: The body is laser straight with no rust or damage
showing. The panels fit square and flush. Painted a deep Fathom
Green, the metallic is laid out evenly and the clear coat is
polished smooth and glossy. The white SS stripes are painted on. It
looks like most of the chrome and trim has been replaced. The
weatherstrips and windshield were replaced. The power top frame is
mint with new hydraulic rams, weatherstrips and a nice white top.
The SS wheels look new with new trim and are wearing reproduction
Firestone Wide Oval tires.
INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car right now and will say I am very
impressed! Everything looks new and fits right! The seats have all
new cushions, upholstery, headrests, seatbacks and the chrome trim.
The door panels, armrests, handles were replaced too. Down on the
floor it has new carpet and embroidered floor mats, GM seat belts
and center console with a 4-speed Hurst shifter sticking out of it!
The dash area is nice and clean, it has the factory gauges,
tachometer and a clock. The heater control panel has been replaced
and it has an AM/FM radio. The tilt column has a rosewood deluxe
steering wheel. The pillars, visors and mirror were replaced, the
interior lights work.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine was just completely rebuilt. It's a
396 making a solid 350hp, on top it has an Edelbrock intake and
carb. It features power steering and brakes. It's complete with
working horns, GM hoses, cadmium plated booster, correct fan shroud
and the squirters are hooked up. Under the hood is painted slick
and has hood insulation. It's very tidy and proper.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted
slick. Inside is solid with a spatter finish paint. The
weatherstrip, stickers and well liner were replaced. It has a cool
vintage tire that's never been used, it still has its sticker on
the tread. It is complete with the jack assembly too.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for restoration. The floors
are so clean they painted them a gloss black! The suspension was
completely rebuilt and upgraded with adjustable QA1 shocks at all
four corners. In back it was upgraded with a UMI rear suspension
kit including tubular upper and lower control arms, frame braces
and a 1 inch swaybar. The brake system has been gone through, the
lines were replaced, e-brake is hooked up and it has disc in front.
The exhaust is fresh with a crossover pipe, Flowmaster mufflers and
the SS tips. The fuel system was replaced including the tank.
Looking up at the motor it is clean Chevy Orange. It has a Muncie
4-speed trans that was rebuilt and a new clutch was installed. The
rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a 12-bolt posi rear. It's very
clean and proper under here.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: I look at thousands of collector cars and I will tell
you this is a good one. It looks good all over, it feels good too.
I'm confident the new owner will be very happy!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
