In 1967 a new designed fastback slopes all the way to the rear of
the trunk. The wider body lines give the 67 an aggressive look. The
hood has two recessed louvers. Inside the louvers are turn
indicator lights visible to the driver. An integrated instrument
cluster designed to give the driver clear view of the gauges.
Keeping to the period correct look an original "brand-new" Sun
Super Tach 2 from the 70's. A tilt steering with wood grain
steering wheel and 2+2-fold-down rear seat makes the 67 a
collectors dream. The stance, look and feel with grille mounted GT
fog lamps makes the 67 standout.
This is a full nut and bolt build. Every detail is at the highest
level. This is a "No expense was spared" restoration. The 67 has
only 2541 miles on the build. Paint code T (Candy Apple Red) is
flawless. All chrome and trim are at show standards. The interior
is in impeccable condition from the three-tone door panels to the
center console. Keep you driving cool an updated to modern "Old Air
Products" air conditioning.
The Handling of this Mustang is like no other 67 starting with
relocated brake booster to above left front wheel well. Power
brakes are Hydro boost hydraulic power brakes with a polished Baer
master. Cross-drilled brake rotors for the four-wheel power disc
brakes. A limited slip 8" rear differential with Moser axles and
3.90 gear. A four-leaf rear suspension with 1" lowering HS springs.
The upgrade to massive front and rear sway bars. Top of the line
Bilstein shocks. The correct look with Magnum 500 15" chrome wheels
and BF Goodrich 215/65-R15s and BF Goodrich 235/60-R15 rear.
Power is a balanced and blueprinted 347ci Stroker V-8 engine. It
has all the right stuff; AFR 185cc aluminum heads with polished
valve covers, Edelbrock RPM intake manifold, Quick Fuel 650cfm
4-barrel carburetor, Stainless steel 3/8" fuel lines, Roller cam
and rockers, Hi-Torque starter, MSD distributor, MSD spark plug
wires, Polished one wire alternator, Billet aluminum serpentine
belt system. Cooling is handled by a Champion aluminum radiator
with overflow reservoir, and an electric cooling fan. Power to the
ground is a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a hydraulic
clutch. The great sound comes from Headman long tube exhaust
headers, and 2.5" stainless steel exhaust with an "H" pipe and
Flowmasters. The 67 has a NEW OEM wiring harness.
Every aspect of the build speaks volumes of the quality that has
gone into the 67. This Mustang breaths excitement.
