1963 Jeep Gladiator J300 - Rare Early Barn Find Project This 1963
Jeep Gladiator J300 is a true early-production Jeep pickup and a
rare barn find. As one of the first Gladiator models ever produced,
it represents the beginning of Jeep's long legacy of rugged
full-size trucks. This one has been sitting for about 40 years, but
it remains mostly complete and restorable. Highlights Original
Tornado 230 inline-six engine - complete, condition unknown 3-speed
manual transmission (originally column-shift, partially converted
to floor) All driveline components present - front and rear
driveshafts intact New rolling stock installed so it moves freely
Steering currently locked, but wheels and axles are intact No
radiator installed Floorboards rusted out - will need replacement
Small rear window cab, an uncommon and desirable early design Clean
title - good candidate for restoration or preservation Condition
This J300 is solid in structure but in need of full restoration.
The body and frame are complete, and it retains many hard-to-find
original parts. Though it needs significant work, its rarity and
originality make it an excellent starting point for a collector or
vintage Jeep enthusiast. Authentic, rare, and full of potential -
an early Jeep Gladiator ready for revival. Important Information -
