They pretty much redid everything front to back as you can see from the new parts listed in the description above. The paint on this El Camino is driver quality, it is not a show quality paint job. The best way to describe the paint is it looks great from 5 feet away and in photos but when you get right on top of it there are minor imperfections. If it was a show quality paint job the price on this car would be in the 40s. You can find a cheaper El Camino but it is NOT going to have all the upgrades this one has. The AC system, dakota digital gauges, full updated wiring harness & rebuilt drivetrain (just to name a few) are extensive & very expensive upgrades that many out there will not have in this price range. This car has been tastefully upgraded and would be a great weekend cruiser or daily to work and back if you wanted. I have put close to 100 miles on the car and it drives great, it runs fantastic and starts well everytime, it shifts great and drives straight going down the road.
