Description:
This 1969 Chevrolet C10 pickup was the subject of a custom build
that involved the installation of a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 along with a
6L90 six-speed automatic transmission. The body was refinished in
blue and white and has been modified with shaved side marker
lights, one-piece door windows, LED lighting, and a roll-up soft
bed cover. Chassis modifications consist of a Ridetech adjustable
air suspension system, power-adjustable four-wheel disc brakes with
drilled and slotted rotors, and 20? Boze alloy wheels. Inside,
power-adjustable GMC Denali seats are accompanied by a custom floor
console, power windows, a JVC stereo, Vintage Air climate control,
and Dakota Digital gauges.
Interior:
The cab houses power-adjustable seats sourced from a GMC Denali
model and trimmed in black leather. A custom floor console houses
controls and gauges for the Ridetech air suspension and surrounds a
late-model shifter. A Vintage Air climate-control system is
installed along with a JVC stereo and power windows. The
aftermarket steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and
frames a set of Dakota Digital gauges consisting of a 160-mph
speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and readouts for voltage, fuel
level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer
indicates 300 miles have been added since the build, and the
selling dealer notes the check engine light illuminates
intermittently.
Exterior:
The truck was refinished in blue and white after the side-marker
lights were shaved under prior ownership. Equipment includes tinted
glass, one-piece door windows, aftermarket door mirrors, and LED
headlights, taillights, and front marker lamps. The bed is lined in
black carpeting and has widened rear wheel tubs, a roll-up soft
tonneau cover, and a floor-mounted fuel filler for the relocated
tank. The truck rides on a Ridetech adjustable air suspension
system along with 20? Boze alloy wheels wrapped in 275/35 front and
345/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The truck is equipped with
power steering, front and rear anti-sway bars, and power-assisted
four-wheel disc brakes.
Drivetrain:
The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 is topped with a blue and white cover and was
installed during the build along with a custom air intake setup and
an aluminum radiator with electric fans. Power is routed to the
rear wheels through a 6L90E six-speed automatic transmission and a
12-bolt rear end with a 3.73:1 limited-slip differential. The
exhaust system has coated headers, an H-pipe, and Flowmaster
mufflers.
