MaxMotive is proud to offer this 1964 Chevrolet Nova Pro Street.
Originally a California car, this Nova retains its classic Chevy
appeal while incorporating the right performance upgrades for
street and show enjoyment. The exterior presents in bright red with
airbrushed body side moldings and chrome bumpers and trim. The
stance immediately sets the tone, thanks to a tubbed rear, narrowed
Currie 9-inch rear, and Weld Racing ProStar wheels wrapped in
Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. Despite its competition-inspired
stance and equipment, this Nova is very street-friendly. It's a
mild-mannered, easy-driving street car that just happens to look
like a Pro Street racer. It starts easily, idles smoothly, and is
perfectly suited for cruising around town, hitting local car shows,
or taking to weekend cruise-ins. It delivers the unmistakable
presence of a race car with the comfort and reliability of a
well-built street machine. Power comes from a 400ci small-block
Chevy equipped with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, Holley
carburetor, MSD ignition, and Hooker headers feeding a 3-inch dual
exhaust that exits neatly ahead of the rear tires. Cooling and fuel
delivery are handled by an aluminum radiator with electric fans and
an aluminum fuel cell mounted through the trunk floor with a Holley
electric fuel pump. Underneath, a Mustang II front suspension with
tubular control arms and coil-overs, paired with a back-half
chassis, ladder-bar rear suspension, panhard bar, and rear
coil-overs, provides excellent ride quality and traction. The car
uses a manual steering rack and four-wheel disc brakes with vacuum
assist for confident control. Inside, the Nova features a clean
black interior with cloth seats and a red dashboard, highlighted by
a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter, Grant GT steering wheel, and a
complete set of Autometer Phantom gauges including a 10,000-rpm
memory tach. Safety equipment includes a 1-inch 8-point roll cage
with swing-out door bars and RJS 5-point harnesses. The odometer
shows 90,987 miles (mileage exempt due to age). This Nova blends
vintage Chevy style with a street-friendly Pro Street personality -
the kind of car you can drive, enjoy, and proudly show anywhere.
