Exterior body and original paint in very good condition. Interior is excellent with all original upholstery that is extremely well preserved. Engine is 390 cubic inches V-8, which starts and runs smoothly. Odometer reads 21214 but we think it's 121214. This summer, the engine was worked on. Our mechanic said, "It was a joy to drive." Trunk is original lining and still looks great. Two sets of golf clubs can fit inside. Electrical, lights, and radio are operational. This Thunderbird has remained in the family since purchased from the dealer in 1966.
(You have to look closely to find any imperfections on the exterior. One tiny pinhole dent likely from another car door (driver’s door). Possibly one small rust spot (less than 1 inch) forming on lower passenger side door. Slight scuff marks by left rear Thunderbird metal name plate. Photos of all are included. As stated, the interior is exceptionally well preserved. The carpet looks like new and only the floor mats are worn. There will be additional work required on the engine such as an oil leak, freeze plugs, and neutral safety switch is loose. Gas gauge is not accurate. The old gas was drained and the tank was filled with new fuel. The gauge does not register a full tank. The right turn signal functions but only partially. Brakes checked out fine. The car is dreamy to sit in and drive.)
