This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS is offered by a private seller and is
located in Bremen GA. (30110). This beautiful Camaro has been in
the same family since early 80's. It sat in a barn for some 20
years before being off-frame restored approximately 10 years ago.
It has remained in a covered enclosure and driven only to car shows
and special gatherings. Not much of the car hasn't been replace,
rebuilt, painted or polished. The owner dropped in a Chevrolet
Performance's all-new ZZ5 350 that uses new-casting Fast Burn
cylinder heads equipped with LS-style beehive valve springs for
greater high-rpm performance. It's rated at 400 horsepower - more
than any Small-Block engine ever offered in a production Chevrolet
muscle car or Corvette! The new, lightweight aluminum cylinder head
casting is based on the proven Fast Burn design, with large intake
runners and 2.00/1.55-inch valves. New beehive-style valve springs
enable greater high-rpm performance and durability. He installed an
EFI fuel injector system. This great motor twists into a rebuilt
700R4 automatic transmission. To top off the power train he
installed the throaty dual chambered exhaust system that really
makes this classic rumble. All aspects of the car operates as
designed except one headlamp cover needs assistance in opening and
closing and the clock doesn't work. The fit and finish is high
driver quality. It is equipped with vintage air, AM/FM radio,
center console cluster gauges. as noted in the photographs, there
are areas of the car that needs attention. You can see blisters
cropping up in the paint just aft of each front wheel wells. It has
front disc brakes and drum rear. Please note this RS has the
optional hood blinker indicators. Seller seeks the fair price of
$59,995 but open to other reasonable cash offers. Inspections
encouraged and welcomed by appointment only.
