In 1970, a Hemi-powered Dodge Challenger wearing all black with a
white stripe around its tail appeared one night on the streets of
Detroit looking for trouble. That fateful night an illegal drag
race started and ended with the winning Hemi Challenger vanishing
into the darkness beginning the legend of the "Black Ghost"! For 5
long years the "Black Ghost" would appear and then disappear under
the cover of darkness on the mean streets of Detroit, taking on all
comers and leaving them seeing tail lights fading into the
night.
The legend of the Hemi-powered Challenger never faded for Dodge and
sadly came to an end. 2023 marked the swan song for the fabled Hemi
disappearing from its option list for more eco-friendly options
with no soul. While coming to the end is never easy, they built
only 300 cars to commemorate the "Black Ghost" disappearing into
the night one final time.
This is the "Black Ghost", still in its new wrapper, ready to
re-create your own octane-fueled legend of 807 Horsepower rumbling
down the mean streets of your town! The head-turning grumble will
turn the heads of all the octane lovers and piss off the eco-loving
Tesla and Prius owners at the same time, a true win, win
situation.
