At its heart is Porsche's legendary 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six
engine, delivering approximately 217 horsepower and the
unmistakable sound, responsiveness, and mechanical character that
have made this generation of the 911 one of the most celebrated
Porsche sports cars ever produced.
Introduced for the 1987 model year, the G50 transmission brought a
more refined hydraulic clutch and improved shift quality while
retaining the engaging, mechanical driving experience enthusiasts
expect from a classic 911. Today, G50-equipped Carrera 3.2 models
