This 1939 Mercury convertible is a phenomenal example from the
first year of Mercury production. It has been refinished in the
proper black exterior paint which is in exceptionally good
condition for its age. The interior is reported to be Factory
original, and looks to be authentic. The odometer shows 76,056
miles which are believed to be actual, however the title does read
exempt. This car has its original drivetrain consisting of a V8
engine and 3 speed manual transmission with floor shifter, and is
outfitted with fog lights, wide white wall tires, Beauty trim
rings, fender skirts, bumper guards, and glove box clock. The
preservation of this vehicle is truly astounding, particularly the
interior.
