This 1956 Volkswagen Beetle is an oval-window sedan powered by a
fully rebuilt air-cooled 1,835cc high-performance flat-four engine
paired with a 4-speed manual transaxle. This Beetle underwent a
complete and professional restoration by JP's Garage in Ruidoso,
NM. =The engine has a Newport long-block with dual carburetor setup
producing 126hp. Stopping is handled by all-new four-wheel drum
brakes. Presented beautifully with a green exterior and wood cargo
rack over a taupe interior, it rides on color-matched wheels with
chrome centers mounted with wide whitewall tires. The interior
features taupe bucket seats with a matching rear bench,
color-coordinated door panels, full carpet set and an
ivory-finished two-spoke batwing steering wheel. Instrumentation
includes an 80-mph VDO speedometer and gauge cluster. This Beetle
is part of a private museum collection and has been stored indoors
