This custom 1955 Buick Special Riviera build was inspired by Jay
Leno's 1955 Buick Roadmaster and is powered by a 502 Ram Jet
fuel-injected engine paired with a Turbo 400 automatic
transmission. Power is sent to a Currie-built GM 12-bolt rear end
with 3.73 gears, and the exhaust is routed through MagnaFlow
mufflers. This frame-off restoration features a powder-coated frame
and modern front suspension with four-wheel power disc brakes.
Additional mechanical features include custom air conditioning with
four dash vents, power steering, new wiring and gauges, and power
windows. The vehicle is equipped with a $10,000 custom sound system
and custom wheels designed for larger tires with a small center to
fit stock hubcaps. The interior is finished with front and rear
bench seats, and has matching dash, door panels and carpet. Only
