For Sale at Auction: 1973 Ford F150 in Scottsdale, Arizona
Originally an F-250, this 1973 Ford custom-built pickup has been
converted to F-150 configuration. It is powered by a 525ci Ford
big-block V8 engine built by NHRA legend Bob Lambeck and equipped
with Edelbrock heads and port fuel injection, producing 550hp and
650 ft/lbs of torque. Power is routed through a C6 automatic
transmission paired with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. The
drivetrain is supported by a custom four-link rear suspension with
an Eaton Truetrac differential and QA1 coilover rack & pinion front
steering. Braking is handled by Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with
an electric parking brake. Cooling is managed by a Ron Davis Racing
radiator with electric fans, and a CVS serpentine system and billet
hood hinges complete the engine bay. Comfort and climate are
managed by a Restomod Air system, while interior instrumentation is
provided by Dakota Digital gauges. The cabin features custom
leather and tweed upholstery with heated seats, a Nu-Relics power
window system, and all-new glass and weatherstripping. Additional
modern conveniences include a Digital Guard Dawg keyless ignition
system and a BlackVue front and rear camera system. Audio is
delivered via a custom-tuned stereo with Mosconi amplifiers. This
professionally restored truck underwent a two-year frame-off build
by Old Anvil Speed Shop in Orange, CA. Accolades include First in
Class at the 2023 Grand National Roadster Show and Second in Class
at the inaugural Grand National Truck Show in the same year. It was
also featured in a six-page article in the October 2023 issue of
Classic Truck Performance magazine. ** PREVIEW
