Here is a car that is rapidly increasing in value. The 240's and 260's have become mostly unreachable and these 280's are starting to follow suit. Especially the ones equipped like this.
Here we have basically a ONE OWNER car. I personally purchased this car from it's original owner in western New York about 4 years ago. The car had been sitting in his garage for about 25 years as I recall, undriven. I resurrected it, had the brakes, clutch and fuel system restored and the car was made drivable again. The body is all original and never rusted. I believe its had one repaint many many years ago. Upon my purchase a friend and fellow dealer fell in love with it and I sold it to him. He promptly put it in his collection and never drove it. Now he's asked me to help him sell it. The car runs and drives fantastic just as it did for me. The A/C does not function and the fuel gauge is inoperative. I believe the AMP gauge also does not work. This is a great start for a collector that wants to get in on the ground floor of and increasing asset.
This is THE model collectors look for. Turbo, two seater, five speed and t-tops. The odometer reads 117,814 on the miles.
