INTRODUCTION: You really need to see this one in person - it's
gorgeous! Every time I look at it, I'm reminded how much I love it.
The car underwent a full body-off-frame restoration and is detailed
everywhere you look. Beyond its stunning looks, it's got the muscle
to back it up - a big block under the hood paired with a 5-speed
transmission. This one's not just for show - it's a runner!
EXTERIOR: I have to lead with the colors, they are beautiful! The
electric blue is bright and refreshing and I was elated when I
noticed the blue tints in the clear coat. In person it is most
impressive. The body fit and finish is outstanding! From the
rockers to the roof it is straight as an arrow. It fits real nice,
the doors click shut just by letting go. The hood and trunk had
their medallions and hood ornament shaved for a cleaner look. All
of the factory chrome and trim was replaced; it even has the
correct antenna and optional fuel door trim. It was upgraded with
smooth 1 piece bumpers. All of the glass was replaced and has a
smoked tint. The lights are nice and bright LEDs, a big
improvement. The lowered stance is just right and it's sitting on
polished staggered size American Racing Hopster rims. Up front are
18s and in back are extra wide 20s tucked into the wheel wells, all
4 are wearing performance tires.
INTERIOR: The cabin was first lined with sound deadener for a
quieter, more solid feel, then finished with a custom interior that
perfectly captures vintage appeal. It features bright blue and
white upholstery on the seats and door panels, matching blue carpet
and mats, and a crisp white headliner above. The painted metal trim
shines as nicely as the exterior, and the dash is a pleasure to sit
behind. A custom steering wheel sits on a tilt column, complemented
by a sharp set of blue-lit gauges, a retro-style stereo, and
sparkling trim throughout. The air conditioning will blow ice cubes
right onto your lap! Seatbelts are installed front and rear. And
saving the best for last - the 5-speed shifter rising from the
floor, with a lever right beside it that opens the exhaust dumps on
demand!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: That's a 496 Stroker motor making 647
horsepower! It has aluminum AFR heads, Edelbrock intake and the
biggest dual feed Edelbrock carb that I have ever seen. It also has
MSD ignition and a set of headers. The front of the motor has a
serpentine drive system with chrome plated power steering, air
conditioning compressor and alternator. It runs cool with an
aluminum radiator, water pump and overflow bottle along with two
electric fans. It also features a CPP hydro boost power brake
system with a polished master cylinder. The engine bay is painted
beautifully. The aluminum core support, radiator and condenser were
bought as a matched set. This is a sharp looking compartment, that
doesn't mean it's just for. There's plenty of go!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The underside of the trunk lid and jambs are
finished in slick, high-gloss paint. Inside, the compartment is
solid and clean, with enlarged wheel tubs and a white finish
protected by a fitted blue carpet. The battery has been relocated
to the trunk and is neatly enclosed in a custom battery box for a
clean, organized look.
UNDERSIDE: This was body off the frame restored, it's been
completely rebuilt and detailed under this car. The front end
steering and suspension was rebuilt and has an upgraded fatter
swaybar and drop spindles. In back the leaf springs have been
relocated inward, it has lowering blocks and QA1 double adjustable
gas shocks. The custom exhaust is fat with an X-Pipe, dumps and
MagnaFlow mufflers. A custom 24 gallon fuel tank was installed
along with new fuel lines. The brake system was replaced and
upgraded with drilled and slotted disc brakes in front. Looking up
at the motor there is a high torque starter and a Miloden extra
capacity oil pan. Inside the heavy duty scatter shield is a
hydraulic clutch engaging the TKO 5-speed manual. A rebuilt
driveshaft leads back to a Ford 9 inch with 4.30 Yukon gears and
Moser axles. The frame and chassis components were prepped and
painted gloss black. The floors were prepped and painted with a
durable chip guard tinted in a color to represent the factory
primer that was used originally.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Take a second look, it just keeps getting better! It is
a show quality, eye-catching muscle machine!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
