This vehicle was last driven in 1963 and then parked until 2012 with the odometer reading on the title as 9,500 original miles. Paperwork found underneath seats from 1957 - 1963. The car is now showing 9,627 miles which are believed to be original. The car believes to have all original paint except for the passenger door and fender that have had some minor paint work done. The paint was hand rubbed out to not damage the original orange peel texture of the finish showing its originality. Paint in the engine bay is all original and preserved. The car was ordered in beautiful mandarin orange over white paint with matching upholstery that was completely redone due to deterioration of fabric. Original tube radio and speaker were removed completely and restored, the original speaker was re-coned. The front suspension has been completely overhauled with new coil springs. This vehicle has the lifeguard optional features such as: steering wheel design, redundant door latches and padded dash. New old stock parts were used to replace any parts where practical. Five brand new tires were installed 7/10/15 Firestone Deluxe Champion White Walls along with 5 optional wire hubcaps. This vehicle is a factory P-Code police interceptor 312 ci wide block with a four barrel tea pot carberator mated to a Ford-O-Matic Automatic Transmission.
