For Sale: 1968 GMC C/K 1500 in Santa Barbara, California
1968 GMC Stepside pickup truck. Second owner since new. GM new V-8
Crate Engine. (Small block) w/aluminum rocker arm covers. Sanderson
exhaust manifolds. Aluminum radiator. Edelbrock intake manifold,
carburetor, and water pump.
Electric radio antenna (in old gas filler location) and a new
aftermarket AM/FM radio and CD player. Speakers in doors.
HEI distributor and alternator. 700 R automatic transmission
w/overdrive. Custom built to Corvette specs.
Custom seat by TEA's SEATS w/arm rest (fabric). All instruments new
aftermarket. The speedometer is electric and adjustable.
Ididit chrome tilt steering column & custom steering wheel. Power
steering & quick ratio steering gear.
Customized tailgate and tail lights. Mild pinstripes (hand
painted).
Power brakes. Disc on front & drums on rear. Replaced 6 months ago.
Oversized steel wheels need refinishing & tires are great!
Front suspension is lowered with a new 2" dropped spindle. The rear
is lowered 4" with new leaf springs.
Red wool interior carpet. No heater or A/C. The original gas tank
was removed (no gas smell) and made more room for a "Tea's fabric
custom seat. A 19 gallon aluminum gas tank is mounted at the rear
of the frame.
Gas line from tank to engine and gas filter replaced 9/9/2025.
California license just renewed and good until September 2026.
