The 4.2 generation are generally regarded as the best E-Types to actually live with. They’re not as rare and crazy expensive as the early 3.8s, but have more comfortable seats, more durable interior trim, a torquier engine plus other minor improvements and retain the signature glass-covered headlights and slender secondary lamps.
This was originally a US-delivered car that was given a lengthy and thorough restoration several years ago before residing in the prestigious Alan Jones Collection.
