1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 COWL INDUCTION, GAUGES This is one
sharp car in a factory color, Fathom Blue code 28! There are gloss
white SS stripes running down the Cowl Induction hood and trunk
lid. Looking down the sides of both sides it is straight. It has a
functional cowl induction hood with factory hood pins! All the
chrome and stainless on this Chevelle shine very nicely. It sits on
a set of 14x7" factory SS wheels with 225/70/14 BF Goodrich T/A
radial tires. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. It has a
period correct 454 ci 4 bolt main engine, casting # 361959. It does
have some performance upgrades: GM winters aluminum square port
heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum intake manifold with a dual
feed Holley carburetor with correct fuel line, an HEI ignition and
chrome valve covers. It also features factory power steering,
4-core radiator with the correct fan shroud and fan, GM hoses with
correct tower clamps and spring type factory battery cables. The
engine bay is finished in a satin black. The Parchment interior
really pops up against the Fathom Blue exterior. The upholstery has
all been redone from the carpet to headliner. The dash looks to be
original and in good shape and the dash pad is nice, no cracks. It
features the optional tach and gauges and a clock that works. In
between the bucket seats sits a factory automatic console with a
horse shoe style shifter coming out of it! Looking up at the motor,
it is clean as well as the Turbo 400 automatic 3 speed
transmission. The floors are all clean metal, no signs of rust or
patches. It has front disc brakes and a 12 bolt rear end with F41
suspension and 4:11 running gears. It has a newer gas tank, fuel
lines, brake lines and a new dual exhaust system that runs all the
way out the back with the correct cowbell exhaust tips. The E-brake
assembly is complete, hooked up and working. Inside the trunk is
rock solid with a nice Black/Aqua spatter finish. It has new
weather stripping, spare tire and jack. This is one exceptionally
great looking Chevelle SS with gorgeous colors and desirable
