This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop is powered by a 283ci
Turbo-Fire V8 paired with a TH350 three-speed automatic
transmission, and it was refurbished some time before it was
acquired by the current owner in 2020. The body is finished in
turquoise and white and features rear wheel skirts, dual side
mirrors, and chrome bumpers, while the cabin is outfitted with a
traffic light indicator, a Lokar shifter, aftermarket air
conditioning, turquoise and black vinyl upholstery, and a
retro-look digital stereo. It rides on body-color 14? steel wheels
with faux knockoff covers and whitewall tires, and power-assisted
front disc brakes have been added. The car left the factory
finished in Tropical Turquoise with an India Ivory roof, and the
selling dealer notes it was refurbished some time ago, and the
paint could benefit from detail work. Details include twin wind
splits, a wrap-around windshield and rear window, hooded
headlights, dual chrome mirrors, rear wheel skirts, a fuel filler
concealed above the left taillight, and chrome bumpers. Body-color
14? steel wheels wear faux knock-off covers and are mounted with
BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial whitewall tires. Braking is provided
by front discs and rear drums. The interior features a
split-folding front bench seat trimmed in turquoise and black
patterned upholstery and joined by matching door panels and
color-coordinated carpets. Appointments include a traffic light
indicator, a locking glovebox, a Lokar shifter, aftermarket air
conditioning, and a retro-look digital stereo. The clock does not
work, and the seat padding has been replaced. The two-spoke
steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and frames a 120-mph
speedometer flanked by coolant temperature and fuel level gauges.
the 283ci Turbo-Fire V8 received runs great, a rebuilt carburetor,
and a replacement starter, alternator, and gaskets for the oil pan,
intake manifold, valve covers, and rear main bearing. Cooling is
handled by an aluminum radiator and a shrouded fan. Power is sent
to the rear wheels through a replacement TH350 three-speed
automatic transmission. Decoding the trim tag reveals the following
