This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Restomod is a dream car for anyone who
loves this generation of Chevy. The stance, with its staggered
wheels, gives it a very aggressive look that makes the beautiful
red paint job pop even more. The chrome bumpers add to the
eye-catching appearance, while the original-style chrome accents on
the quarter panel keep some originality to this fully restored '55
restomod.
For an older car, you would never know you were driving something
from the 1950s. The tan interior works in perfect harmony with the
exterior red paint. The comfortable, modernized, heated leather
split-bench front seats are in great condition. In the center of
the floor, there is a floor shifter and easy-to-reach cup holders.
A custom billet steering wheel and chrome steering column pair
perfectly with the stock-appearing chrome gauge bezel and custom
gauge cluster. The chrome and billet accents throughout the cabin
are in great shape. Toward the center of the beautiful dashboard
are stock-looking heat and A/C controls, and beneath those is a
custom entertainment center with AM/FM, Bluetooth, and Aux inputs.
The headliner, carpets, and door panels are all in great shape. The
trunk is equally clean, and although the battery is located back
there, it is hidden.
Under the hood is an amazing piece of art. The engine bay is
painted the same color as the body. A chrome alternator and A/C
pump, combined with gray Chevrolet valve covers, create a clean and
striking appearance. But what really brings this 400 cubic-inch V8
engine to life are the chrome, period-correct-style stacks sitting
on top of the EFI system. The engine combination is mated to a
Richmond 5-speed automatic transmission that runs back to a 9-inch
rear axle.
Like the rest of the vehicle, the front and rear suspension systems
are custom to the car. The front suspension features a Corvette
front end with A-arms and adjustable coil-overs. The rear is
equipped with a 4-link setup and adjustable coil-overs. Power disc
brakes sit at all four corners. The front brakes use drilled and
slotted rotors, while the rear uses Wilwood calipers. For wheels,
the staggered setup includes 17-inch Billet Specialties in the
front and 18-inch B/G Rod wheels in the rear. The tires are Nitto
NTSSS Extreme 235/45ZR17 in the front and 295/45ZR18 in the rear.
And to keep this 1955 sounding as good as it looks, the car runs
long-tube headers and a dual exhaust with an X-pipe feeding into a
set of Borla mufflers.
