Produced from 1984 to 1996 with history making design it was
introduced with a completely new chassis emphasizing handling
thanks to a lightweight aluminum suspension and a focus on
balance.
Small Block Power And Performance-
Power is furnished by a 350ci/L98 small block that was factory
equipped with aluminum heads. The '87 version of this engine
utilized a Bosch Multi-Port Fuel Injection System along with a
newly introduced roller cam and lifter configuration that allowed
the motor to produce 240 BHP @4000 RPM and 340lb/ft torque. Backing
up the L98 is a 4-speed automatic transmission mated to a
posi-traction differential
Handling And Stopping Power-
The chassis is equipped with power steering and 4-wheel ABS power
disc brakes (w/11.5" rotors). The suspension of the C4 is of
competition quality including forged aluminum front/rear control
arms, tubular aluminum drive shafts and transverse monolith
springs. Falken performance radials mounted on the distinctive
factory 16" alloy wheels.
Little Red Corvette-
This 3-owner Corvette roadster is a classic C4 in excellent
original condition. The factory Bright Red finish has been well
cared for, and the original tan leather interior shows very little
wear and with tunes provided by the
Delco/Bose/AM/FM/Stereo/Cassette/Radio. Getting in and out is easy
with the Tilt/Telescopic steering wheel.
