Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1988 Porsche 911 G50
Carrera Coupe. Finished in Guards Red over black interior, this 911
presents to a very nice standard both inside and out. Recent paint
correction and ceramic coating; excellent original underside with
no damage and no known rust issues. Clean CarFax with no accidents;
all body panel VIN stickers are intact and matching. Euro rear
bumper guards. Marchal drivng lights with Martini covers. Carrera
Club Sport livery. Brand new 15-inch Maxilite anodized Fuchs-style
wheels are wearing new Pirelli Cinturato CN36 tires. These tasteful
and subtle upgrades make this one of the best looking 3.2 Carreras
we have seen in recent memory.
Interior presents well with a crack-free dash and good original
door panels and seat upholstery; the present enthusiast owner
prefers the earlier-style 911SC steering wheel so that's what he
fitted. The custom center console with room for six cassette tapes
is peak 1980s. Aside from these items and a modern head unit, the
interior is otherwise all original. All gauges are working,
including the clock. A/C has been recently serviced, is running
R134a and blowing cold.
There's a reason why the 1987-1989 Carrera is the most desirable
G-body 911 - it's without a doubt the smoothest and most refined
iteration of the line, and this example is no exception. The 3.2
liter flat six runs great, and the G50 five-speed manual
transmission shifts smoothly. Drivetrain is stock aside from a cat
bypass (which is good for a few extra horsepower). Power delivery,
clutch, gearbox, steering and brakes all feel very "dialed in" and
this 911 is a pleasure to drive.
Spare, jack, air pump, original books and many service records are
included with the sale. For more information about this 1988
Porsche 911 Carrera for sale at Motorcar Studio in Savannah, please
