San Diego, California. This is the only known example finished in

Ferrando of D&A Corvette in Gillespie, Illinois. Dick is
one of the most respected Corvette restorers in the country and
purchased this Tanker for himself to restore and add to his special
collection. Dick would go on to restore his Tanker to concours
condition before selling the car to collector Mike Johnson of New
Mexico, who is a Tanker and rare Corvette collector. Mike would go
on to take the Corvette out on the national judging circuit and
archive National and Regional Top Flight awards under his
ownership.Mike decided it was time to let the J56 Tanker go in 2023
