Extensive and lengthy process restoring this beauty with some upgrades like Dakota Digital Gauges and a Retrosound system. The owner was a Ford master and retained over $6,000 in receipts not including body, paint, interior, aftermarket heater, wheels, tires, seal kits, lights and many other items. Unfortunately, he passed on and now it’s time for a new owner. Everything is complete and she is ready to cruise with a few miscellaneous electrical tidying remaining.
The crimson red metallic with charcoal and grey interior and black carpet is so sweet. She floats on the road with the suspension, tight with no squeaks at about 2,500 rpms doing 60. The radial whitewalls with painted to match steelies and chrome caps just tie it all together. All the Dakota Digital gauges have been calibrated and working accurately including the speedometer which is spot on with my phone speedo app. The rebuilt flathead 6 and rear differential just purrs and fires first try when cold with the electric and manual fuel pump. The owner also installed an electric oil pump so she is primed before starting and minimizing dry starts and ultimately engine wear. The system is 12v with a complete Ron Francis wiring system and blade fuse box, upgraded electric wipers, aftermarket heater system, Retrosound with additional speaker wires should you wish to add more and seat belts. All the lights are fully functional and this is a lot of classic for the money!
