This 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Sport Coupe shows 28k miles, and
is said to have previously remained in a collection. The car is
finished in black over Maroon cloth and is powered by a 5.0-liter
V8 linked to a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include
SS-specific bodywork and graphics, a rear spoiler, 15? rally
wheels, an F41 sport suspension, a Philips stereo, cruise control,
and R134a-based air conditioning. Work in September 2025 included
replacing the input shaft seal, tires, shocks, stabilizer links,
front brake pads, and multiple drive belts. This Monte Carlo SS is
now offered by the selling dealer with the owner's manual, a
September 2025 service record, spare and removed parts, a clean
Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title. This example is finished
in black with red accents, and additional equipment includes a rear
spoiler, quad headlights, window tint, and dual exhaust outlets.
The 15? rally wheels are mounted with Futura GLS Super Sport tires
that were recently installed, and the SS was factory equipped with
F41 sport suspension with heavy-duty springs and larger front and
rear anti-roll bars. Stopping power is provided by front disc and
rear drum brakes. Work in September 2025 included replacing the
brake fluid, shocks, stabilizer links, and front brake pads. The
interior is trimmed in Maroon cloth and features bolstered front
bucket seats and a rear bench as well as color-coordinated door
panels. Amenities include a Philips stereo, a center console, a
locking glovebox, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The
air-conditioning system was converted to utilize R134a refrigerant
in September 2025, at which time the compressor, accumulator, and
lines for the air-conditioning system were replaced. The removed
stereo is included in the sale. The leather-wrapped steering wheel
frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary
gauges for fuel level, battery voltage, coolant temperature, and
oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 28k miles. The
5.0-liter High Output V8 was equipped from the factory with a
Rochester Quadra-Jet four-barrel carburetor and was factory rated
at 180 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque. Multiple drive belts
were replaced in September 2025, at which time an oil change was
performed and the coolant was changed. Power is routed to the rear
wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission, which was serviced
in preparation for the sale, at which time the input shaft seal was
replaced. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
