1926 Pierce Arrow Model 80 Roadster with Rumble Seat
This charming 1926 Pierce Arrow Roadster wears a nicely mellowed older restoration and is just out of long-term enthusiast ownership. Green with tan interior. An attractive car that's ready for its next lucky owner. It's been off the road for the last few years in storage and is not currently running. It requires straightforward mechanical recommissioning at this time. It has very presentable paint and interior. An honest and straight car. Very clean and solid underside and frame. Once mechanically sorted, this rare and desirable roadster is sure to provide ample enjoyment at any number of events, tours, or weekend drives.
From the company’s beginning in 1901, excellent engineering and legendary design made Pierce-Arrow a leader in the luxury car market. As one of the storied “Three Ps,” Pierce-Arrow joined Packard and Peerless as the highest quality American cars of the period. The 1926 Pierce-Arrow Model 80 Roadster is most definitely not typical of Pierce-Arrow production. Instead of a staid and formal limousine or touring car, this is a jaunty and sporting Pierce. Its open roadster body with rumbleseat sits gracefully on the Model 80's 130 inch wheelbase. The power comes from an inline six-cylinder that produced 70 horsepower.
Highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts, this 1926 Pierce Arrow Roadster is a lovely example of Jazz Age style and flair. It continues to exude character and exuberance to this day.
