In the tradition started in the late 1930s by Edsel Ford, the Continental Mark VII (later renamed the Lincoln Mark VII) was a luxurious vehicle designed to fill the position of the brand's "halo car". First introduced in 1983, the Mark VII was based on the long-wheelbase variant of Ford's Fox platform and featured an extensive array of amenities far surpassing those of its other Fox-bodied stablemates. Automatic climate control, a four-corner air suspension, and auto-dimming high-beams were just a few of the standard features on every Mark VII.

While initially offered in three trims, the line was simplified in 1988 to just two: the luxurious Bill Blass Edition and the more performance-oriented LSC. Both were equipped with a 225hp variant of Ford's 5.0L V8 and were largely differentiated by suspension tune, final drive ratio, instrument cluster, and exterior trim (even these minor differences were consolidated in 1991). Regardless of specification, Mark VII's are known for their exceptional in-period luxury and reasonably impressive performance.

The superlative 1990 Lincoln Mark VII Coupe featured here is finished in its incredible factory original specification of Titanium Pearlescent Clearcoat Metallic over a well-kept Ebony leather interior. From new, this remarkable Lincoln has been meticulously maintained and driven a mere 10,002 miles, making this one of the finest examples we've ever seen. Not very many Mark VIIs were kept in such fabulous condition; because of this along with its exceptionally low mileage, this Mark VII should prove to be a tremendous investment. Offered to the most particular collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires to own one of the very best at an investment price!
