Description:

This 2000 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R is one of 300 examples produced for the model year and shows 10k miles. The car is powered by a 5.4-liter DOHC V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It is finished in Performance Red and wears a removable front air dam, a cowl-induction hood, and a rear wing. Additional features include 18? five-spoke cast aluminum wheels, an independent rear suspension, Recaro sport seats, remote keyless entry, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. This SVT Cobra R is now offered with the window sticker, a car cover, partial service records, a clean Carfax report.

Interior:

The cabin features Recaro sport seats trimmed in Dark Charcoal cloth with Cobra R emblems embroidered into the backrests. Amenities include a leather-wrapped shift knob, remote keyless entry, and power windows, mirrors, and locks. To save weight, the Cobra R was not equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, a stereo, a rear seat, or sound-deadening materials. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles.

Exterior:

All 2000 Cobra R models were finished in Performance Red (ES) and feature a "power dome" hood, a removable front splitter, integrated brake cooling ducts, extended side skirts, a rear wing, and quad side-exit exhaust outlets. Additional equipment includes black-surround headlights and SVT and Cobra badging. The 18? five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels are wrapped in 265/40 Kumho Ecsta tires that were mounted in May 2021. The Cobra R package features an independent rear suspension along with Bilstein shocks, stiffer Eibach springs, and larger sway bars than the contemporary SN95 Mustang. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with four-piston Brembo front calipers.

Drivetrain:

The 5.4-liter DOHC V8 features forged aluminum pistons, performance camshafts, and an aluminum radiator. Factory-rated output was 385 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The Cobra R was fitted with a performance exhaust system featuring a Bassani X-pipe and Borla mufflers.
