A classic square-body that looks the part and backs it up with
fresh cosmetics, purposeful upgrades, and clean undercarriage
presentation. Purchased by the current owner in 2020 and
refurbished and lightly modified in 2022-2023, this K-20 Silverado
wears a sharp two-tone Blue/White repaint over a tidy Tan interior,
rides high on a combined ~7" lift (4" Rough Country suspension + 3"
body), and rolls on 17" Pro Comp wheels wrapped in 3712.50
Mastercraft Courser MXT tires. Power comes from a 400ci small-block
V8 backed by a 3-speed automatic and dual-range transfer case.
Odometer shows 14,040 miles (five-digit unit has rolled over;
roughly 10k added in current ownership). Clean Iowa title, receipts
and build/refurb photos included.

August 2025: new AC compressor, alternator, and belts
Exterior
Finished in a clean, period-correct two-tone Blue/White, this K-20
presents exactly the stance and vibe enthusiasts want. During the
2022-2023 refurbishment, the cab and bed were media-blasted, cab
corners/fenders/inner fenders/tailgate replaced, and all panels
were cavity-waxed before paint. Reassembly included new bumpers,
windshield, seals, weatherstripping, bright trim, tail/marker lamps
and a sharp earlier-style grille for a tougher face. Functional
add-ons-Lund visor, cowl hood, LED headlights, stainless roll bar
with classic KC Daylighter covers, side steps, and a receiver
hitch-complete the look. The bed is body-color and clean (see
photos), with chrome roll-bar uprights and a straight floor.
Interior
The cab was overhauled to a tidy, driver-friendly Tan:
Bench seat re-covered in Saddle vinyl; matching headliner and
carpet
Factory two-spoke wheel ahead of a 100-mph speedo and full
factory-style auxiliary gauges (fuel/temp/oil/volts)
Air conditioning intact and serviced (compressor/belts replaced Aug
2025)
AM/FM feeding aftermarket speakers neatly packaged behind the seat;
WeatherTech floor mats protect the new carpet
Notes: the dash pad needs replacement, and the fuel gauge needle
can fluctuate.
Drivetrain & Underbody
400ci Chevrolet small-block V8 (factory 175 hp / 290 lb-ft when
new) upgraded with stainless long-tube headers and a dual exhaust
using Flowmaster mufflers-nice, deep tone without drone.
3-speed automatic transmission shifts as it should; dual-range
transfer case engages cleanly.
Differential fluids recently replaced under current ownership.
The undercarriage photos show solid floors finished in body color,
clean frame rails, proper mounts, and fresh hardware-exactly what
you want to see on a truck you plan to enjoy.
Suspension, Steering & Brakes
4" Rough Country suspension lift complemented by a 3" body lift for
tire clearance and stance without excessive driveline angles
17" Pro Comp wheels with 3712.50 Mastercraft Courser MXT
mud-terrains provide the right square-shoulder look and
traction
Front disc / rear drum brake setup; lines and components present
cleanly in photos
Steering and driveline angles appear correct; truck tracks straight
and sits level
Driving Impressions
Fire it up and the 400 settles into a smooth rumble; the
Flowmastered duals give a vintage muscle-truck note. The
three-speed automatic is simple and reliable, the transfer case
shifts in and out of 4WD without fuss, and the truck drives
confidently for a tall K-20-no wandering or weird noises. The
combination of 37s and ~7" lift delivers the stance and ground
clearance you're after, yet it remains street-friendly.

Why We Like It
Square-body K-series trucks are hot, and this one nails the
formula: fresh two-tone paint over real bodywork, clean
undercarriage, stance on 37s, 400ci rumble, and AC for summer
cruises-plus
