Survivor Classic Car Services of Tampa is proud to offer this
beautiful MG TD from the model's first year of production, 1950. It
is a great running and driving British classic that is sure to turn
heads wherever you drive it!
This TD is finished in striking Red paint that is accented by a
clean Tan interior as well as a tan manual folding soft top and
side window curtains. Our MG was repainted a few years ago, then
placed in storage so it looks fresh as a daisy! Tan MG steel wheels
are paint matched to the top/interior and give the car an extremely
classy look.
The vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition and the soft top
shows well. All of the great Jaeger gauges are in nice shape and
appear to function as they should. The dash looks nice, as do the
door panels. It is rare to see one with the side curtain windows
which is a nice touch if you ever get caught in a rain squall.
Under the hood the 1,250cc XPAG inline-four looks great and runs
even better thanks to a recent rebuild of the dual SU carburetors
by Glenn's MG and a new fuel pump. The shifting is done by a 4
speed manual transmission that shifts smoothly with a nice clutch.
The primitive nature of these cars makes them a true drivers car!
Without some of the creature comforts you get to feel like a part
of the machine as you take her around some nice curves!
