For Sale: 1932 Ford Roadster in Tucson, Arizona

Vehicle Description

The ex- Vic Edelbrock 1932 Ford roadster. Built by the best, Roy Brizio Street Rods, and completed in 1987 with 3913 miles on the odometer. Owned by Edelbrock and his estate until August of 2025 when I acquired the vehicle. Used over the years for his personal enjoyment as well as promotional use for the Edelbrock Corporation.

Fully documented with all build Receipts from Brizio, notes regarding the build and later upgrades that were done when the new engine, transmission, and rear differential were replaced by Brizio, promotional materials from when displayed at shows, and cancelled titles and registrations in Edelbrock’s name.

Brizio started the build with one of his  custom Frames, this one  with smoothed frame rails and fully boxed.  Rails were cut off in back for hidden fuel tank and pinched up front hidden behind the custom built Covell grille. Originally built with a Halibrand quick Change but later changed to a ford 9” rear differential with Posi Traction. Rear coil overs are fully adjustable for ride height. Ladder bars are chrome. Front end utilizes a fully chromed dropped axle, adjustable 4 bar, and  cross steer.  All 4 corners have fully polished aluminum 4 piston disc brakes.

The body is from Westcott and has hidden door hinges and smoothed front to back. Stunning paint in Ferrari Red with only a few blemishes from over the years. (pictured in Gallery)Still looks amazing. The Hand made aluminum hood was stretched 3” from stock and perfectly meets up with the 2” shorter 32 Grille made by master metal man Ron Covell with custom polished stainless bars and a leading “V” edge. Hood sides are steel, louvered, and perfectly fit the body and grille. The handmade aluminum windshield frame incorporates mirror stands.

Interior in Navy Blue leather with wool carpets and red pinstripes. Really hugs you in and has a fold down armrest and seat belts. Column is polished aluminum. Custom wood Dash insert and VDO gauges. Interior shows only minimal wear around drivers kick panel from entering and exiting. No Top.

Powered by an EDELBROCK Blown crate engine making 507 HP and 487Ft lbs of torque. Full roller setup with Aluminum heads and backed by a 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission with overdrive. VERY fast car. Engine is crisp and eager to go with the slightest tap of the accelerator. Rolls on one off Billet 3 piece Knock off Rims and Goodyear tires.

Well sorted car built  by master builder Roy Brizio Street Rods and a Rare chance to own a part of Hot Rod History, a car commissioned, owned , and enjoyed  by the biggest name in aftermarket Hot Rod Parts.
