Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1963 Studebaker Gran
Turismo Hawk. Finished in Parchment White over two-tone red and
white interior, this Hawk shows to a good driver standard inside
and out. The present enthusiast owner bought this car specifically
to participate in the 2025 Hemmings Great Race, a
time-speed-distance rally covering more than 2,000 miles from
Minnesota to South Carolina (the vinyl graphics outside and the
rally timers mounted inside can be easily removed). Bumpers, trim
and glass are in excellent condition; factory steel wheels with
hubcaps are wearing Hankook whitewalls with 2021 date codes.
The interior remains in good original condition, with light patina
but no damage or major wear to note; all gauges and lights are
working properly; under-dash A/C has been converted to R-134a and
is blowing cold.
Under the hood is an "R1" Studebaker 289 cubic-inch V8 mated to a
three-speed automatic transmission; optioned with power steering
and power brakes, plus a/c - this is comfortable car to drive in
any climate. Well sorted mechanically and recently proven on a
cross-country rally - this Hawk runs and drives great and we would
not hesitate to embark upon a trip with it.
