This 1960 Chevy Apache C20 is a really cool and great looking truck
that was frame-off restored around 12 years ago. It has only around
12,000 miles on it since being restored and it still looks
beautiful! The truck started out as a clean Montana truck and has a
lot of cool upgrades done to it when it was restored. This is a
great running and driving truck! The body is clean and straight.
When it was restored it was repainted in the colors of Light Blue
and White. The paint still looks really nice. All of the chrome and
moldings are still really nice. The wood in the bed was replaced
with oak and they added stainless strips...it looks excellent! It
has a custom locking tool box/gas tank in the bed (it replaces the
behind the seat gas tank which was removed). The underside of this
truck is extra clean and we found no rust issues with this
vehicle.
The interior is really nice and was all new when it was restored.
This includes the reupholstered seat, new carpet, inside of cab
completely painted, updated instrument panel with new gauges, all
new gaskets, updated steering column with tilt wheel, and a nice
aftermarket stereo. The headlights taillights, brakelights, and
turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. The horn,
windshield wipers, and heat are also working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
wonderful! The engine is a rebuilt 5.7L 350 V8 with all forged
internals, mild cam, and it was balanced an blueprinted. It also
has an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, electronic
ignition, Be Cool 4 core aluminum radiator, and dual exhaust. It
has a Turbo 350 automatic transmission that shifts great. It was
rebuilt with a shift kit and a 2200 stall converter to match the
cam. They upgraded the rear axle to a 14 Bolt from a 73 Chevy and
had it rebuilt with all new internals. (3.73 gears). The front end
was also upgraded from a 73 Chevy C20 so it has coil springs and
power front disc brakes. It also has upgraded power steering. This
is all sitting on 1973 factory steel wheels with hubcaps and
245/75/16 Michelin tires. What a great cruising and great looking
truck!!
