INTRODUCTION: 74,000 Chargers made in 1971 and this is only 1 of 99!! Decoded by Galen Govier, also documented with original broadcast sheet. It was a part of a 35 car collection, it is rare and desirable.

EXTERIOR: All new "sleeker" design for 1971. This one is extra sharp decked out with racing hood pins, racing mirrors, front and rear spoilers. It also has the very desirable N96 Ram Charger hood, the scoop opens on demand and feeds the 6-pack fresh air. The body is straight and looks great. Repainted its original hemi orange color, it's laid out and polished to a glass finish. The black stripes look great, especially the Super Bee logo on the hood. The windshield has been replaced, bumpers were rechromed, vinyl top looks great. The 15-inch Rallye wheels with and BFG tires look like new.

INTERIOR: It's looking real good inside as well. It has a new dash pad, and the instrument panel is excellent. It's a Rallye gauge car with tachometer, the factory radio is still in place. The glovebox pouch with manuals is included. Nice carpet down on the floor with that awesome Pistol Grip 4-speed shifter sticking out of the hump. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered. The side panels, plastic trim, visors, mirror and steering wheel are in excellent shape. The headliner fits very nicely, it has a couple small holes.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Here's what really makes it special: a 440 six-pack ram air engine! It is making 385 horsepower and came with a hotter cam, higher compression and 3 Holley carbs. It is VIN number matched to this car and includes stock manifolds, valve covers and complete Ram Charger induction system. It also features power brakes. It looks very proper and complete with the correct radiator and shroud, the battery is secured properly, the hoses and wires are run properly, horns are working etc. The engine bay is painted nicely, it has the fender tag and the VIN number on the cowl matches the car.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is rock solid clean metal inside the trunk. I think it may even be the original orange paint. Complete with jack and spare assembly, it even has a trunk light.

UNDERSIDE: Underneath presents nicely, it's been maintained and serviced as needed. We inspected the car, the steering and suspension appears to be working properly. We did rebuild the steering rag joint. It has disc brakes in front, we replaced a front brake hose, adjusted the rear brakes and replaced the emergency cables. The factory style exhaust looks fresh and has a cross over pipe along with the "machine gun tips". The fuel tank looks fresh. Looking up at the motor it has a high torque starter. It has the performance A-833 4-speed manual trans and an 8 rear end with 3.55 Sure Grip gears.

SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell.

CONCLUSION: The Super Bee for 1971 was a performance package in the Charger. It included rally gauges, rallye suspension, HD brakes and shocks. It came standard with a manual 3 speed and a 383. This one is 1 of 99 440 six-packs made with an automatic. It was upgraded with a pistol grip 4-speed which would be 1 of 80. How many have the Ram Charger hood, don't know but it certainly makes it even more rare. This is a rare and desirable car!
