INTRODUCTION: This is insane: 202 mph top speed, 0-60 in 3.4
seconds and yet it is loaded with comfort and technology! Drive it
to get groceries or to the track. It offers nostalgic muscle car
style with a modern reliability. It marks an end to an era, these
are not being made and most likely never will. This is a premium
example with only 7,400 miles, beautiful colors and in excellent
condition. Clean Carfax, 1 owner for the first few months then the
same owner since.
EXTERIOR: You can certainly see the strong resemblance to the
original Dodge Challenger. This car presents practically like new,
the clean Carfax reflects it has never had any damage or repairs.
The red eye includes the twin scoop functional ram air hood and
this one has the optional spoilers. It also has the optional wide
body package that has flared wheel wells to accompany the extra
wide wheels. The color is absolutely gorgeous, like a piece of hard
candy called Octane Red metallic. It has a high gloss finish, minor
stone chips on the flares. The optional 20x11 inch Devil's rim
forged wheels look great. They are wrapped in Pilot Sport All
Season performance tires. I also love the modern lighting, the
inboard headlights actually act as air induction to the motor. The
Hellcat logos even have red eyes representing the Red eye
package!
INTERIOR: It's filled with technology and comfort. This one has the
optional Napa leather trimmed seats with alcantara inserts, the
seats are very supportive. You could drive this car all day long.
The package also includes power tilt/telescopic steering wheel,
suede door trim, and engine turned interior accents. The technology
group includes rain sensitive wipers and automatic high beam
controls. The driver convenience group includes blind spot
detection, high intensity head lamps and power multifunction
mirrors. The slap stick shifter has a vintage style T handle
wrapped in leather, the paddle shifters are a blast too. The
digital screens have much to offer from backup camera to � mile
time recordings. Other features include an array of steering wheel
controls, heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, power
driver's seat premium Alpine speakers and much more. The black or
the red key fob allows for keyless entry, but only the red one
gives you the full 787 horsepower!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Unbelievable, the monster that lies beneath
this hood! A 6.2L supercharged V8 making 797hp and 707 lbs of
torque! The Redeye has 25 major component upgrades over the
standard Hellcat including a huge 2.7 liter supercharger, forged
internal components, enhanced lubrication, a different camshaft,
higher RPM limit, dual stage fuel pumps and a very feature is the
Power Chiller that actually uses the air conditioning system to
cool the supercharger. All this power and yet with all its
technology it is also reliable, it could be driven everyday!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Exceptionally large cargo space is fully lined.
The back seats fold down to give added space. Under the floor panel
is an air pump for the tires and the battery.
UNDERSIDE: There is a lot of technology under this car allowing for
comfortable cruising or aggressive handling. The adaptive
suspension allows you to select different modes that alter the
power, steering, suspension, transmission and even the exhaust. The
wide body kit also includes a competition suspension with added
features. Other features include electronic roll mitigation and
stability control, all speed traction control and the giant Brembo
vented disc brakes at all four wheels with six piston front
calipers. The exhaust has fat stainless pipes that gives a nice
growl! The transmission, driveshaft and rear end are even upgraded
in the Redeye to handle the HP and torque. This one has the
optional 3.09 gear vs the stock 2.62.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: I don't care how much money you spend or who builds it,
a vintage muscle car cannot even compete with all this car has to
offer. I feel it's an incredible value in today's world, super cars
are selling in the millions They don't make them like this anymore,
you can get an electric car if you like peace and quiet!
